Intro Sustainable Power & Utilities (ISPU) signed a loan agreement for resource consumption efficiency with QNB AlAhli for EGP 25,300,000 to partially finance a 1.5 MW Combined Cooling Heat & Power (CCHP) plant. This plant operates with our combined heat and power solution, which utilizes “Tri-generation” technology to supply steam, electricity, and chilled water for Dough & More Food Industries (DAMFI). It will fulfill its entire energy needs for over 15 years, offering 17% more financial savings, reliability, higher operating efficiency from 36% to 80%, and a reduction of CO2 emissions by 1,500 tons/year.
This pioneering project is the first private Trigeneration project in Egypt and the first to obtain a free-market gas contract from EGAS. It is also eligible for the Green Economy Financing Facility (GEFF) fund provided by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD).
