Our sustainable power and utilities arm, Intro Power & Utilities (IPU), has just signed a loan agreement for resource consumption efficiency with QNB AlAhli for EGP 25,300,000 to partially finance a 1.5 MW Combined Cooling Heat & Power (CCHP) plant, providing Dough & More Food Industries (DAMFI) with its entire energy needs over 15 years, offering financial savings, reliability, a higher operating efficiency of 80% and a reduction of CO2 emissions of 2,500 tons/year.

This pioneering project is the first private Tri-generation project in Egypt and also the first to obtain a free-market gas contract from EGAS.

This project is eligible for the Green Economy Financing Facility (GEFF) provided by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD).
