Environ- Adapt at the blue zone COP27

Last week COP27 at the blue zone, we had the pleasure of taking part in a dynamic session titled “Innovative Practices for the Circular Economy” with Omar M. El Hassanein representing Environ-Adapt along side Tetra Pak PepsiCo and Nestlé Waters among leading consultation organizations CID Consulting. The discussion covered Tetra Pak plans to build a recycling facility in Egypt and PepsiCo and Nestlé Waters plans towards a circular model.

Environ-Adapt a subsidiary of Intro Sustainable Resources discussed its experience that ranges across the waste value chain from waste management digitization to circular recycling. The importance of the different stakeholders within the waste value chain from Government regulations to multinational EPR commitments were highlighted with regards to ensuring collection and digital traceability towards zero landfill and a circular economy.
