Project Brief
A 15-year Energy Purchase Agreement with the National Company for Maize Products (NCMP), a subsidiary of Cairo 3A, for a BOT co-generation unit to supply NCMP with its entire 14 MW electricity demand and its thermal energy needs which is 35 tons/hour. The project, once operational, will be one of the most significant private-to-private energy efficiency projects in Egypt and will lead to a reduction of CO2 emissions of almost 27,000 tons/year.
